Kiara Dental Assistant
Kiara has been part of the City Smiles team for almost two years as one of our beloved Dental Assistants! Kiara is driven by her desire to perfect her clinical technique and grow her patient care skills. When she’s off the clock, Kiara like to try new restaurants, unwind at the gym, and spend as much quality time with her family as she can. Though she leads an active lifestyle, she can still fall asleep just about anywhere when she needs to!
Adriana S., R.D.H. Dental Hygienist
Adriana is our lead Dental Hygienist, and has been an integral member of the City Smiles team for over 25 years. She prides herself on providing the best possible preventative care for patient, while keeping up to date with the latest innovations and techniques in the hygiene world. Adriana is constantly moving, and spends her free time being active with Peloton, yoga, and meditation; as well as cooking or trying to places with friends and family. She recently added a new boy to her life, a Doberman Pincher named Sur!
Elizabeth, R.D.H. Dental Hygienist
Elizabeth has been a friendly face on our hygiene team for one year, and consistently works to provide a safe, welcoming, compassionate environment for her patients. Her goal is to empower patients through personalized coaching and education, guiding them to achieve and maintain optimal oral health. In her free time, she maintains a balanced and healthy lifestyle through fitness, immersing herself in nature, exploring coffee shops, and sitting down with a good book. Her free time keeps her energized, focused, and adds a sense of adventure and cultural exploration to her routine. Elizabeth is equally found of thrift shopping, and loves finding unique and sustainable treasures!
Margarita Dental Assistant
Margarita has been a trusted Dental Assistant at City Smiles since 2019. She prides herself on perfecting her clinical skills with new technology and techniques, and is always looking for ways to educate and comfort patients during their time in our office. Margarita enjoys the company of her three beloved dogs, as well as gardening and watching documentaries about a variety of topics. Margarita also has a penchant for pranking and scaring her coworkers, which means we are constantly looking for ways to repay the favor!
Damaris, R.D.H. Dental Hygienist
Damaris was hired to assist on weekends after participating in an internship program through the Wright College Dental Assistant Program. Damaris speaks fluent Spanish. You will currently find her working at the front desk as a patient coordinator or assisting whenever we need her. Her hobbies are running, reading novels, swimming, and volunteering at school activities. Her career goal is to become a dentist.
Laney, R.D.H. Dental Hygienist
Laney is one of our dedicated dental hygienists, and has been with City Smiles since June of this year. She joined our team after relocating from New Hampshire, and is looking forward to expanding her clinical knowledge while providing quality care to her patients. Outside the office Laney enjoys yoga, literature, and quality time with friends and family. Laney is also a cat lover, and would love to have 20 or more!
The Front Desk Team
Jenny Patient Coordinator
Jenny has been our Patient Coordinator since 2022, and is a consistent friendly face at our front desk. Jenny strives to provide great customer service and make scheduling as easy as possible for every patient that comes through our doors. In her free time, Jenny enjoys spending time with her son, seeing new shows on Netflix, and unwinding with video games. Jenny is the number one Hello Kitty fan, (especially Kuromi!), and is always on the lookout for a cute new item to add to her collection!
Leila Insurance/Financial Coordinator
Leila is an experienced Insurance Coordinator and Financial Coordinator at City Smiles, where she has been a dedicated team member since 2011. Originally from Brazil, Leila quickly mastered the English language and has leveraged her bilingual skills in English and Portuguese to make a meaningful impact in the healthcare field. Her top priority is to ensure the efficient processing of claims, maximize insurance approval, and help patients navigate their insurance needs. Beyond the office, Leila holds a degree in Marketing and Advertising and is advancing her education in Public Health with an emphasis on Management. She enjoys traveling, dancing, fitness, and gardening. She also enjoys a variety of foods and cuisine, but never seafood!
Diana, FAADOM Office Manager/Financial Coordinator
Diana has been a part of the City Smiles family for over 25 years and has moved her way up to becoming our Office Manager. Diana wears many hats throughout her work week, and continues to gain knowledge through education and experience in various areas in order to create a positive environment for patients and our team. In her spare time, she is always on the run with her three kids, and enjoys crafting and planning theme parties. She is even learning to speak Portuguese!
Michelle Patient Coordinator/Marketing Assistant
Michelle has been a part of the City Smiles team since 2021. Michelle joined our team while looking to jump back into the dental world and found a motivating and supportive environment where she can help ease patients’ dental fears and anxiety. In her free time, Michelle is an avid baker, often sharing her creations with her City Smiles family. She can also be found spending quality time with her two adorable nieces or working out at OrangeTheory Fitness. She has even completed their Marathon Month, “Hell Week”, and Dri-Tri challenges!
Sandy Office Manager/Financial Coordinator
Sandy has been a friendly face a City Smiles for over 15 years. She serves as an Office Manager and Financial Coordinator, helping guide patients through the financial aspect of treatment and tackle everyday issues that come up for our office. Sandy describes City Smiles as a home away from home, and has enjoyed the career growth opportunities it has allowed. Sandy loves to spend her downtime cooking for her kiddos, and testing out new recipes. During the summer her family is CONSTANTLY at the pool or in the sun, and enjoys movies and the seeing new attractions throughout the city. She is an avid true crime fan, but still says she’s afraid of the dark!
Adriana C., FAADOM Business Manager
Adriana is our problem solving Business Manager, and has been an invaluable part of City Smiles for over 30 years. Adriana is known to be a consistent, level head for the City Smiles team, and uses her years of experience to guide us through everyday challenges. Her goal is to help continuously improve patient care and experience. While off the clock, she enjoys sitting down with a self-development audiobook, cooking a variety of dishes, and traveling with her family. Adriana is also a wine “geek”, and showed off her knowledge of wine trivia at our last team summer event!
